Kitty Ussher

New this week - a “welcome” video for Kitty Ussher, our local MP.

Kitty had recently commissioned a new website, and liked the idea of a short introductory video, but didn't want it to “take over the page”.

Our solution was to replace the existing photograph in the page header with a video that plays when clicked on.

The Flash Video encoding method we used allows for very high quality pictures, when compared to MPEG or Windows Media Video. In fact the “still” at the beginning is actually part of the encoded video file.

This was one of our favourite videos, quick and simple to create, but at the same time adding an entirely new dimension to the page.
